The girl group Busters has announced an exciting new musical challenge this summer, aligning their artistic direction with the evolving AI (Artificial Intelligence) era.
According to their agency Marbling Co., Ltd., Busters is currently in the midst of preparing a distinctive concept for a new album, slated for release in July.
Aiming to expand their presence on the global stage, Busters plans to unveil a concept that is futuristic and original, marking a significant departure from their previous image. With performances and musical experimentation powered by cutting-edge AI technology, they are poised to emerge as a new icon of the Korean Wave (Hallyu).
The group has maintained consistent interaction with global fans through a diverse range of overseas activities. These include a three-day performance at KCON JAPAN 2023, serving as ambassadors for the 2023 KWBL Wheelchair Basketball League, and releasing the emotional webtoon OST “Shining Day,” showcasing their expanding musical spectrum.
Busters’ accolades include the Global Hallyu Star Award at the 2024 Korea Best Brand Awards. They also captivated audiences at major Japanese events such as ENA K POP UP CHART SHOW IN JAPAN and KBEE 2024 TOKYO, and participated in the Korea-Vietnam Cultural Exchange Festival, further promoting the appeal of K-POP across Asia. Most recently, they were selected as models for Java Prima Abadi’s Luwak White Coffee, a prominent Indonesian brand, strengthening their foothold in the Southeast Asian market.
Having surpassed 1 million followers on their official Instagram and achieving 14 million and 19 million views on TikTok videos, Busters continues to garner widespread popularity. Their comeback—featuring an evolved concept and stage productions enhanced with AI technology—is drawing keen attention.
Meanwhile, Marbling Co., Ltd., the group’s agency, has produced music for LUNA SNOW, the K-POP character from Marvel Studios, and has worked on various J-POP projects, including with AKB48. They have also made a mark in K-POP through production credits for “Who Dis?” by SECRET NUMBER and “LOVELY” by Gong Minzy.
