Girl group Busters has announced a new musical challenge for this summer, keeping pace with the AI (Artificial Intelligence) era.
According to their agency, Marbling Inc., Busters is currently preparing a unique concept aimed at releasing a new album this July.
Busters plans to attempt a fresh transformation, moving beyond their previous image with a more futuristic and original concept to strengthen their influence on the global stage. They are expected to establish themselves as a new icon of the Korean Wave (Hallyu) by incorporating innovative AI technology into their performances and musical experiments.
Busters has consistently communicated with global fans through diverse overseas activities. They expanded their musical spectrum by performing for three consecutive days at “KCON JAPAN 2023,” serving as ambassadors for the “2023 KWBL Wheelchair Basketball League,” and releasing the webtoon OST “Shining Day,” among other endeavors.
At the “2024 Korea Best Brand Awards,” Busters received the Global Hallyu Star Grand Prize. They also performed at “ENA K POP UP CHART SHOW IN JAPAN” and “KBEE 2024 TOKYO,” receiving enthusiastic responses from local fans. Additionally, they helped spread the appeal of K-pop at the “Korea-Vietnam Cultural Exchange Festival.”
Recently, Busters was selected as advertising models for Indonesia’s leading coffee brand, Java Prima Abadi’s Luwak White Coffee, further solidifying their presence in the Asian market.
Busters surpassed 1 million followers on their official Instagram account and continues to achieve high popularity on TikTok, recording 14 million and 19 million views on various posts.
Their upcoming comeback, featuring a more evolved concept and AI-driven stage productions, is drawing significant attention.
Meanwhile, Busters’ agency, Marbling Inc., previously produced K-pop character LUNA SNOW’s music for Marvel Studio, and has been involved in producing various J-pop tracks including works for AKB48. They have also made a mark in the K-pop scene by producing SECRET NUMBER’s “Who Dis?” and Gong Minji’s “LOVELY.”
